Daily life..

Growing wheatgrass inside my old studio in Victoria. The bright yellow one by the windowsill will turn dark green in a day: It is so interesting to see the rapid changes right in front of your eyes. The idea of self - sufficiency and food production makes a lot of sense to me. We have been applying it to our lives in a major or minor way for a long time.

Another view from the old studio. Wheatgrass to the left, sunflowers sprouts to the right and a vegetables patch in the backyard. I do miss not having that growing space now.

Wheatgrass growing in my new Vancouver studio.

The only things growing now in my backyard are; New buildings, edible flowers, some ever bearing strawberries ( not in the picture: The poor leggy things always shy away every time I try to take their picture )

and lots of plump and georgeous cloud formations.

My wanderings

page2_blog_entry6_1
Scouting the new terrain? Hardly ,,, more like storing in my memory all the plethora of experiences a new place provides. When I am not working in the studio, which is most of the time, I do a lot of wandering. The natural setting is more striking here than in Victoria, although the whole of Vancouver Island has some awe inspiring views, amazing really.
